You're Invited!

You are invited to join the Massage & Bodywork Community of Giving (MBCG), a network of massage and bodywork professionals and businesses throughout New Jersey who are helping to feed New Jersey's men, women, children and homeless animals. The MBCG supports the The Community FoodBank of New Jersey, The FoodBank of South Jersey and the NJ Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NJ SPCA) in order to bring food and supplies to those in need, state-wide, all year long.

Being a part of the MBCG network costs you nothing. It is very simple- a donation bin is placed in a visible area of your business in which employees, clients and students can place donations of non-perishable food items and pet food and supplies. Donations will be then be picked up once every two months (or sooner if there is an abundance of giving!) Your school or business can get involved as much or as little as you'd like - your level of participation is entirely up to you.
While all businesses collect food and pet supply donations throughout the year, others are getting even more involved and are offering donation-based classes or discounted rates to those who donate, etc. The MBCG is meant to be FUN and personalized to fit the needs of you and your business. Participation in the MBCG can enhance your business while making a difference here in New Jersey!

We know massage and bodywork professionals like yourself are passionate about helping others and recognize that one's state of health goes beyond the physical- we strive for wellness of the body, mind and soul. By taking part in the MBCG, you are helping to provide not only meals and supplies for families and animals, you are providing comfort, peace of mind and hope.

All food donations will be delivered to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey and FoodBank of South Jersey, who collectively feed families and individuals living in every county of this state! All pet food and supplies will be brought to the NJ SPCA, and will be donated to shelters in need state-wide.

By participating, your business will receive a complementary listing on the Massage & Bodywork Community of Giving website, along with the massage/bodywork services you provide, and a link to your business' website. We also promote all special discounts, workshops, classes, etc that your business is offering as a part of the MBCG.  In addition, you will be able to place our logo on your website to let your future and current clients and students know that you are a proud participant and a site for donations for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, FoodBank of Soith Jersey and the NJ SPCA. We also provide signage you can display in a window front to let your community know you are involved.

This is a new program that we hope will be active for a long time, and that can only be achieved through the participation of massage and bodywork professionals like you. We sincerely hope that you choose to partner with the MBCG and become an advocate for New Jersey's hungry families and homeless, abused, and neglected animals.
